Want to learn how to run like a pro? Looking for a fun way to get fit that doesn't involve sweaty gyms and boring machines? If you've answered YES to either of these questions, we've definately got a course you'll love.
The UQ Athletics Centre offers several short courses for students and adults with an interest in Athletics and fitness. You don't even need any previous athletics experience!
What if you're an Athletics superstar? No problem, we've got courses that will help you reach your goals in no time (you've got goals right?), all you have to do is show up and prepare to work HARD.
The courses on offer are:
Fit Chicks
This one's for the ladies only. Combining running, stretching, circuits, Fit Balls, Pilates, water running and much more, this course offers fitness and fun in a social group training environment.

Sprint training
In this course you'll work on your speed and fitness on the track in a social group environment under the guidance of a qualified track and field coach. If you want to start running properly - this course is for you.

Revisit track and field
Remember those sports carnivals you did back in school? If you used to look forward to them with excitement, the revisit track and field course should fit you perfectly. You'll get exposed to 8 different track & field events with help from qualified coaches.

Squad coaching
If once a week isn't enough for you - then squad coaching is your answer.
Choose from:
- Sprints squad
- Middle distance squad
- Throws squad
- Circuit and flexibility training squad
Offered as 1 or 2 sessions per week, you choose your own level of comittment.
