Karate

The Lifestyle Karate course will introduce you to the essentials of Karate and its value in developing strength, fitness, flexibility, coordination, balance and self-defence awareness. The five-week course covers strength and coordination drills, standup striking, throws, takedowns and ground-fighting. Within the course you will also learn the importance of fitness and flexibility in developing strong and effective self-defence and martial arts skills. Your experienced instructors will show you how modern self-defence techniques can be traced back to traditional exercise forms developed centuries ago in the Orient.

How does the Karate course run?

Participants in this course will experience the beginner level of karate training.
