Welcome to the UQ Gatton Lifestyle Program. Get ready for a bigger, and better program in 2012. With a great new course structure with more options, you're sure to find your perfect fit. Courses in 2012 are a little different. By offering shorter course commitment (5 weeks) participants now have the opportunity to enrol more frequently throughout the year, and it's easier on the hip pocket.

Boot Camp

Boot Camp breaks up the boredom of your regular exercise routine. It will challenge you in unique ways, keeping you motivated and eager to keep improving your fitness.

Boxing for Fitness

The Boxing for Fitness course is a high-intensity class for all fitness levels. This non-contact workout uses specific boxing training routines to teach you basic boxing skills while also improving your cardio fitness and strength.

Yoga

Yoga is a timeless practice of creating and fortifying wellbeing.  It draws the body into alignment and improves flexibility and balance through physical postures while harmonising the mind and body through conscious breath.  It builds a deep level of relaxation into the system, providing the tools for relaxing and focusing the mind. 

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is based on Muay Thai training and will not only teach you the skills and techniques of the Muay Thai Kickboxer but also improve your personal fitness. A professional fighter will teach you to throw effective punches, knees, elbows and kicks and more importantly how to defend yourself.

Pilates

Pilates is an exercise technique greatly beneficial to people of all ages and fitness levels. The movements (based on the work of Joseph Pilates) are designed to strengthen and elongate your muscles. You will experience improved posture and greater mobility.
